Kiddin’ Around is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of students and families in Lewis County through community programs and events. Founded by volunteers, parents, and community members, it has been a cornerstone of family-focused activities since its inception. For years, Kiddin’ Around hosted free events that brought joy to thousands of children and their families annually, fostering a sense of community and belonging. These events included fun activities like pie-eating contests and Halloween celebrations, creating lasting memories for families across the county.

As Kiddin’ Around evolves, it is shifting its focus towards educational initiatives. The organization has successfully adopted and rebranded the Lewis County Business Academy, a program that provides high school juniors with hands-on business experience at Centralia College. This initiative teaches financial literacy, marketing, and entrepreneurial skills, inspiring students to become future business leaders. Additionally, Kiddin’ Around is committed to fundraising for its Driver’s Education Scholarship Fund, aiming to make driver’s education accessible to all students, regardless of financial constraints. While transitioning away from hosting free events, Kiddin’ Around is confident that other community organizations will continue to provide these services, ensuring that families remain supported.
